Feedback on presentation!

After a week, I want to leave this feedback about the presentation. When I want to check how many I would be able to memorize the content of our presentation, to my surprise, I realized that I can remember 80 percent of the whole content. The impact of image actually leaves deep expression. Within my memory, the most attractive presentation is Kevin's long time mechanism. The material of the advertisement is good but a little bit tedious, but maybe the most difference is its length. As all these kinds of mechanical structures whatever in movie or advertisement, they want to present a wise, harmony and abundant interaction and transmission. Anyway, the greatest presentation is Stephanie's Starbucks advertisement. She did really good in speech and glibly organize her presentation with highlight, arrow and circle. In my mind, this assignment is aimed to make us thing about the idea or design in video or image and recognize the method what designers used to reflect their opinions. From the first expression, style, color, content, we need to learn not only how to analyze but also understand the benefits and disadvantages of using these manifestation.

Interesting Ads

It's a funny ad with using panda what a cute image to introduce the product. The most attractive part is the music when panda appears. By using humorous image to make deep expression, custom would be able to memorize this better than others.

First two weeks of classes

From the first two weeks, fortunately, I realized I got something new to me in this classroom and something I never touch with on any other courses. The first thing impact me is Victor's teaching pattern which is humorous and dramatic so that he can easily put his style in motion. Actually, in this course, lecture can attract me from each element such as the creation of blog and introduction of WOVE. Secondly, till now, what we learned from the lecture focused on the communication and basic skill is good enough for a culture-cross section and training students' ability, for example like the summary of transcript of George Carlin. Finally, the discussion here matches the reading and lead us to understand what we should do and how to figure it out such as the definition of argument and distinguish the difference between convince and persuade. In addition, Victor helped on answering questions which gave huge help on study.


On the opposite, Victor had not completely use time for lecture and as half of students don't prepare before class, he cannot perfectly use lecture time. Furthermore, this class need to be more concentrated on the use of English and practice.
